The bag is wonderful and clearly well made. I will say that I personally don’t find much use in the two small compartments, but someone else’s mileage may vary.

I really love the bad, all the little pockets keep everything in place, especially when walking the dogs and carrying all kinds of little things. Unfortunately the two mini straps inside that are supposed to keep the bag together if you dont want to lay it open flat are connected to the bag with magnets that are not strong enough. When I open the bag and search for something inside, it happens quite often that the magnets open and I need to make sure that nothing falls out.
Similar problem with the knot on the strap: I need to adjust the length of the strap quite regularly because it loosens pretty fast. I try to tighten the know but I think it could be a little tighter from the beginning.

Build your own sling bag is a very cool, high quality product. Looks great and the materials and carabiners are durable. You can fit plenty in it and the pockets for organising are very effective. Separate zip at the back ideal for your phone. Only negative point is that it is a relatively expensive product compared to other similar bags, but it is excellent.

I really like my Labo Mono sling bag but would not recommend the rope strap. It's really impractical and makes the bag pretty annoying. I'm getting the other strap.
