Great bag for everyday and for an alternative to handlebar bags and shoving bananas in one's bib. On longer rides it's good to shift from shoulder to shoulder every now and then.
Fits a 600ml insulated water bottle as well, which is prime for hiking. Thus far it has been water resistant in the British rains.
Works perfectly to keep the bag in place comfortably. Compatible with other bags too, they just need a bottom strap.
I had the chance to use the large sling bag and i have to say that, despite being used for only 30 minutes (i got it just today), i must say it feels like it's robust and that will leave me quite a lot of space for my stuff, (including the basic configuration of keys, phone and wallet). The classic rope fits surprisingly well on my shoulder and i do not feel the weight of the bag (contents included) as much as i thought; the alpine buckle is a must have if you don't feel particularly safe walking around (because, you know: thieves are a thing) or if you just are that kind of person that walks fast and you don't want to feel your bag swinging on your hips (a word of warning though, if you use the Alpine buckle and you also have a sweater with a hood or something like that you might feel the alpine buckle pulling your hood even if you've placed the bag neatly and firmly on your shoulders (but honestly this is that kind of feeling that you need to get used to, and you get used to it pretty fast, so, it's not a big deal)). Overall it's a pretty solid bag and oh boy the customer service is good (i've purchased the medium bag by mistake and they kindly helped me through all the steps from shipping the bag back to letting me know they were ready to send the replacement i asked for). Size wise it was fine for what I wanted. The zips could be more substantial - I don't feel they will last but we'll see. Ample pockets inside. Expensive for what it is - not great value for money.

The strap is a bit too long. I was hoping to use the bag as a hip pack, but it doesn’t adjust short enough to fit my small waist. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wear it as a sling bag instead.
